THE INCEPTION
The initial thoughts of creating Earth Peace emerged from my long-delayed desire to build a brand that could enrich the lives of people in a sustainable way, without taxing nature. Earth Peace is the portal through which I took my first steps in this direction. Growing up, decor objects always aroused fascination within me; intricate silhouette, rough texture, distinct hues-easily arrested my attention as I often found myself in awe simply looking at them. This innate appreciation, I suppose, laid the foundation for Earth Peace.
THE PROCESS
With the foregoing thought in mind, each decor object is handcrafted from sustainably sourced natural materials. No complex machinery is used in the making process. The caress of the creator’s hand is ingrained in each individual piece of decor objects with all its coarse, irregular, uneven, rough characteristics just like any inanimate objects or inhabitants of the natural world we belong to. The imperfection is precisely what individuates them as well as what endows them with significance.
The fundamental motive is to instil a sense of appreciation and connection for earthy, natural, and handmade objects within the minds of people. I firmly believe that this in turn will, knowingly or unknowingly, pave the way to a mindful and conscious way of living.
